We're Like Godzilla - Taking Over Tokyo!
Yes… That's right!
PickUp 101… for the first time ever… is going to Tokyo!
Our top instructors, Daniel and Alexandra won a free trip to Japan and decided to extend their stay there just for the chance to give a little something back to the men of Japan and help them get some hottie Japanese girls
Daniel recently did an interview with the head of the Japan lair talking about the trip to Japan and a little about his story, and you'll want to take a look (whether you're in Japan or not).
[If you are anywhere near Japan - or if you just LOVE Japanese women, then save your spot now. There are limited spots available. You can sign up online, call our office, or just email Daniel@PickUp101.com]
Enjoy the interview ~
Genki: Tell me a bit about yourself and why you're coming to Japan.
Daniel: Like a lot of guys, I had trouble figuring women out when I was growing up. I had girlfriends here and there, but I was never really satisfied, I was always messing up the relationships, and I really didn't feel like I had much choice over the whole thing. I'll spare you all the sob stories, but there were a lot of times when I would be trying SO hard to get a girl and be doing the completely WRONG thing to get her. It's kind of embarrassing to look back on it.
It all changed about 4 or 5 years ago when I got a hold of some David DeAngelo newsletters. If you imagine your worldview as the windshield of your car when your driving down the highway of life. Well… David DeAngelo was the crack in that windshield. And slowly but surely, the crack spread. I had realizations, breakthroughs and huge success!
But, it was tough. And probably the toughest thing about it was that I was living in South Korea at the time. I had one wingman from England - but he thought the whole idea of learning pickup was insane, so we wouldn't talk much about it, just go out together. I also met some local Korean guys who were somewhat of naturals, but still all they would say is "c'mon man… just do it!"
I was pretty much alone in Korea. Learning on my own. With one exception, and that was the internet. I had so many great resources to study from, and forums to post on. (In fact, you can read all my old posts still on fastseduction.com). I learned a lot from the Japanese pickup guys at the time and a lot of other big name posters on those forums.
I got success fast. In Korea, I easily stood out of the crowd, and I used that to my advantage. Within a few weeks, I was dating multiple women (and before that it'd been about a year and half since the last time I'd gotten laid!)
And then the second hurdle came. I returned to the US.
All of a sudden, I was just another person. I didn't stand out anymore. All of the advantage of being a "cool foreigner" were gone. That's when the real work started. That's when I had to find how to express myself in powerful new ways, so that I could still be myself, but I would easily stand out as not just another guy.
I took a PickUp 101 workshop, and it took a few months of really practicing hard before I was back to the same skill level as when I had been living in Korea.
A few more months, I began as an assistant instructor, helping out at workshops. I continued down that path, putting my heart into every workshop, and by now I've taught more than 50 workshops all over the world, from Australia, to London, to Washington DC.
I've come to have phenomenal success, and the confidence to know that I can (and have) picked up women all over the world. And all of it without every really having to change who I am or try to be someone that I'm not. In my book, that's important. I never would've done something if I thought it would turn me into someone else.
The whole time, I've continued to remember my roots. I remember those days of overnight success in Korea. I remember months of loneliness replaced by a different girl in my bed every weekend. Yeah… the memories are fond.
And, I've always wanted to give back. I've always wanted to help other men who were like me, in Asia, trying to figure out these crazy Asian girls with their Asian ways.
So, I joined the Tokyo lair (now the Japan lair). And, I think there were 11 members on the board at the time. I decided to take those 11 members into my care and do whatever I could to help them succeed, and started posting regularly to help them get success. Within, a few months, the lair began taking off. I invited our most respected Genki to join and to my great pleasure he took the lair to a whole new level.
There was no Korea lair then, but after seeing the success of the Japan lair, I was inspired. I felt my job was done, I had helped build a community for those who previously didn't have one. At least for the men of Japan, they didn't have to struggle like I did anymore, and that thrilled me. So, I decided to give it a shot and I started a Korea lair.
I was the first member of the Korea lair. And, for a few months, I was the only member.
But, soon there were 3 or 4 guys on there and I'd give them regular coaching (the kind of coaching I would've dreamed of for myself). I was happy to see them succeeding.
Again, I invited a rockstar (BlueM) to join that lair, and he saw how it could go to the next level. So, he took it and made it into the now very popular Korea lair. I was stoked!
As I'm sure you could guess… helping to build an online community in Asia has been great. But, my real dream has always been to teach in-person!
Not a day has gone by since I left, that I haven't wanted to go back to Asia and do a workshop. Face to face. Helping guys like me.
Luck was on my side!
It just so happened that I entered an online karaoke contest with my girlfriend and WON! The grand prize - a 9 day trip to Japan!

So, that's the story of how we ended up coming to Japan. We've extended our plane tickets to stay an extra weekend and make my dream come true: Workshop Tokyo!
Yes, and that's right. I now have an awesome girlfriend (for over 1 year now), who helps me teach. I've never seen any other women give the type of caring, honest, and lazer sharp advice as her while still understanding the "male perspective."
Overall, it's been a crazy ride. And, funny to think about, because I never would've thought I'd be a "pickup instructor." But, everyday I love it, and I'm not ready to stop yet.
Genki: What's your experience in Japan, and why will your approach work here?
Daniel: This will be my first visit to Japan, and I'm excited! I've been all over Asia (Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam…) and enjoy each place I visit.
I've probably dated girls from every country in all of asia at some point or another. I've dated plenty of Japanese girls in the US, and in Australia. And I love how the women of each country each have their own individual flavor.
I find Korean women have a little toughness to them, and their so proper. Thai women are so used to the sex industry that often the thrill is lost… but if you find one with a little fire in her, she'll keep you on your toes for sure. Taiwanese women have this funny sort of superstitious side to them, always telling me what their fortune-teller said about our relationship. And Japanese women… ah, yes… Japanese women have got to be the most delicate of them all. Like little anime characters each one of them. But, of course, I don't have to tell you that.
In fact, it's a shame here in the US, because I feel like a lot of the best things I have to teach are the things I learned in Korea. When I'm teaching US workshops, I don't get to talk about things like what to do when you don't speak her language. People here aren't as interested (though I have met a few). I've dreamed of an opportunity like this to share how I've consistently created attraction with Japanese, Korean girls, etc… just through the glance of my eyes, or a well-timed smile, or killer body language.
Plus, I want to give the things that I didn't learn until after I left Korea (but I wished I had known while I was there). The truth is that with all of my success in Korea, I was probably still not even at 10% of my real potential.
Really, my big fear has actually been that it would work too well in Japan, and that if I ever went there I might not ever make it home.
Genki: Why should we take your bootcamp/workshop?
Daniel: I know that there's a lot of other workshops out there, and a lot of great guys teaching workshops and doing wonderful things. I would've loved to have those kinds of opportunities when I was learning.
But, something that most people don't realize until they start teaching pickup is that it's actually easier to pickup and harder to teach it. The real challenge is how to make a change in a guys life so that he walks away a new man. How to make him have more than just a good weekend with some cool guys. And, that's always been my goal.
Our workshops are specially designed with exercises that we've been refining over hundreds of workshops. Exercises that are designed to create real visceral change for each individual in his own unique way.
You may not have read a lot of posts from me or heard much from PickUp 101 in the way of theory. Sure, I know the theory, but really I don't like to talk theory much any more. What I want to see is a man smiling, happy, with lots of women around him - and honestly I don't care if he knows "why it worked". He's got his own success, and that's what I want for him most.
When you come to our workshop, you have to work. It's called a workshop, well guess what… you're the one doing the work! If you want to make change, it's your life. We're guiding the way. We're correcting you along the path, but you must expect to be engaged in the process.
If you're looking to just get more info from a seminar that you can fill a notebook with, then you probably shouldn't take this workshop. But, if you want to actually practice the skills that naturals have been practicing all of their life. And you want to feel the change in your body and see real results in your life, then this workshop is perfect.
Also, like I said before, it may be your only chance to work with a female instructor who is actually experienced in coaching men, and has already touched many men's lives. That alone should be enough to get your butt there.
And of course, come to the workshop just because I'm sure as hell not going all the way to Japan to have a boring time! We're taking the city by the storm!
Genki: What are your personal hopes for the bootcamp/workshop?
Daniel: I think I said most of it above. But, I really just want a chance to give back to guys who may be in a situation just like how I once found myself. I want to see them walk away on Sunday with a huge grin on their face, knowing that they've taken a HUGE step toward a life of total overwhelming abundance with women. I know that it's possible for each guy to make those changes. I've seen it in my own life, and the lives of so many others. And, that's what I really want.
Genki: Anything else you want to tell us?
Daniel: Whether I see you in Tokyo or not, I want you to go out and make the most of your life. If you want more women, get more women. If you want one amazing dream woman - go out and find her. If you want to be the next king of Japanese porn - do it! If you decide pickup isn't for you, and you'd rather become world champion of karaoke - just frickin' do it! Life is too damn short to not chase your dreams. And there's too many unhappy people in the world already. Find your own happiness, then share it with the world.
I wish you all success!
