I just finished reading the article. Its Awesome!!! well-written, no weird jargons, and it portrays pickup101 as a normal business. I like this much better than the one in SF mag. Its short and concise. Good job !! i especially like the one sentence that says “david spade clone”. Oh my god, it just hit me!! thats totally true!!
“If there is one thing that unifies these sleuths of the female psyche, it’s their former status as dweebs, nerds, introverts and dorks.”
Oh man! Someone in my family must have squealed and showed them my well-worn Player’s Handbook and Monster Manual and dug out the story of my valiant paladin, Argus, and his trusty steed Citadel. Ah, I clearly remember our final battle for the fate of the world vs. the arch-demon Asmodeus… good times, good times.
19+ hit points for strength and charisma, baby! And I got the 20-sided die to prove it.
I read some of the article then I stopped. I think that it doesn’t capture the full extent of what you guys teach because it paints a slightly negative view on PU101 and the seduction community. I didn’t like the ‘battlefield’ analogy and it sounded like the seduction community is trying to find ways to manipulate women.
I remember Lance saying that girls KNOW when you are manipulating them, after all they are generally more socially savvy than guys. But I’ve found that PU101 teaches guys to be naturally and genuinely attractive men and to adopt the most healthiest perspectives on women (e.g. ‘Everything she does is cute’).
I reckon PU101 has the most positive instructors on the planet who are the best at teaching guys how to bring out their UNIQUE NATURAL ATTRACTIVE QUALITIES that they have tucked away. You can tell they really appreciate women and do not just see seduction as a game.
I also agree that the seduction community is just like the male version of Cosmo, giving advice on how to be more attractive to the opposite sex. Which girls totally support!
When Neil Strauss pointed out that PU101 as having ‘integrity’, I think that he was SPOT ON
