This workshop blew my mind!

I have spent the last year reading/learning everything I can about pu - seminars, a workshop, CDs, DVD', s mailing lists, newsgroups, blah blah.. So I thought I knew a lot of shit. My game still sucked though cos I never practiced after my first workshop with RSD. It didn't get me over the Approach Anxiety (AA) hump.

So I fucked around for a year - did online crap, did a shitload of salsa.. met some chicks but nothing noteworthy.. I decided to do the Art of Attraction (AoA) after seeing Lance a few times in mini seminars, DVD's, David DeAngelo interviews.. His chill style resonated with me and I liked the simplicity (in a good way) of the way he teaches.

I figured I'd know a lot of the material taught at the workshop but wanted mainly to get a review and do the infield stuff with a coach. Well the material taught was almost ALL new to me. Their approach is unique and relies heavily on drilling basic attraction fundamentals.

Other workshops I've gone to spew a ton of information and you are lucky if you can retain and apply any of it properly. PU101 was different. The retention level feels much higher having actually practiced everything quite a bit before going out.

Once out it's just a matter of doing what you had practiced earlier. This is a much better approach. The material itself kicks total ass and like I said was almost all 'new' to me and I've seen a lot of stuff. Leaving this workshop you can expect to have a firm understanding of how to run attraction, and maybe even a whole routine stack. It's all practice after that.

One of the biggest things for me was pushing through my approach anxiety. It was hard at first and I'm sure will be for a while but I have tools to work through it - like warm up sets.. Doing this stuff is way different than talking about it. If you talk about it and don't do it your mind will instinctively tell you - no I shouldn't be doing this because of x, y, z rationalizations… If you let your self be forced to do it - you see its not big deal AT ALL.

I would recommends coming into the workshop with the idea that you are going to allow them to coach you - do what they say and you'll be good to go. I had really bad AA, I was super shy. I saw 'was' because I know I can do this shit now. I also understand where AA comes from (evolutionarily speaking) which made so much sense and helped me get over it. The biggest thing was just doing it.

AA is fucking hard if you have it - you have to have someone to help push you, because evolution has wired into your head to not do what you are doing! If you try to do it on your own you will be fighting yourself. This is only guys with really bad AA. Some guys have other sticking points.

This workshop is the single best pickup product out there IMO.

I opened probably 20-30 sets the weekend (more than the past 7 years probably, including my last workshop). The real thing that matters is that I did it. I got over the AA hump. That is the biggest thing. I blew past my approach anxiety and to my surprise, I lived…
Talked to many cuties, Got good results with hand attraction test a few times.. but this is only the beginning.. I'm ready to rock out with my cock out with this stuff..

I'm not even caught up on sleep yet but I'm in total training mode - Small chunkin it piece by piece (pun intended). I'm signed for Art of Rapport already and will do Art of Seduction when it comes out..

My schedule is going to change to going out 2-4 times a week, plus salsa..

Now I have specific things to work on and the knowledge that I can do it.. fuck yeah.. It's taken long enough, I was sick of suckin at this shit… frustrating! I'll probably still suck for a while but I'm 1000% better off already..

Thanks to all the guest instructors - Vince, Dennis, Joe, Eric.. and all the other dudes too - you know who you are.

Now, I'm taking the pua nickname of 'Shaolin' - mostly to be egotistical.. and cos thats a damn good pua name..

Shaolin (the pick up artist formerly known as Mike.)
