This page is to help you get started, setup, and ready to make money as one of our Affiliate Marketing Partners. Please let us know if there is something you need that isn't covered on this page.

Getting Started:

1. Quick Start Guide to Direct Track [PDF] - This guide shows you the basics of using you affiliate login center in Direct Track. This guide assumes you are registered, approved, and have your username and password.

2. How to Get The Correct Links in Direct Track [PDF] - This guide goes deeper into the topic of how to select links based on the campaign, and the difference between Pure Link and a regular link. Most important, when NOT to use the Pure Link type of links.

3. PickUp 101 Affiliate Teleseminar [MP3] - Teleseminar held for PickUp 101 affiliates to answer questions about the Direct Track system. You can use the player below, or download the MP3. The following topics were covered:

• The differences between Direct Track (DT) & Automate Your Website (AYW)
• How to verify your affiliate links are working
• How to verify you are getting credit for sales by running at test purchase
• The difference between Pure Links and Regular Affiliate links,
  and when to use them. Even more important, when NOT to use them.
• How to set up an email capture box on your blog/site and why you will want to do this (hint... make money)
• If everything is working with Direct Track, some ways to trouble shoot why you aren't making money.
• Some basic ways to 'monetize' your traffic

Making Sure It's Working:

Once you have logged in, gotten a campaign link, and put it on your website... it's important to test it to make sure clicks are being registered. First test if you are getting clicks. Usually this is enough as we have tested the system. But if you want to be 100% certain the system is working, also do a test purchase. We have created a $1.00 test product for this purpose.

Testing Clicks

1. Login to the affiliate center

2. Click on Statistics > Display Stats

3. Look for 'Pickup 101 - Affiliate DirectTrack Test': Notice the amount of clicks & sales and write it down.

4. Click Campaigns Tab > By Campaign Dropdown, choose 'Pickup 101 - Affiliate DirectTrack Test.'

5. Notice two creatives: Standard and Purelink

• Copy Standard Link URL
• Copy Purelink URL

6. Delete cookies - IMPORTANT!

7. Paste Standard Link code into a new browser window and hit enter.

8. After 5 minutes, log back into Affiliate Center.

9. Go to Statistics > Display Stats - Did Clicks increase by 1? If so, your click was successful.

10. Go back to the test's landing page, click Order Now, and make the purchase. Once you hit the Thank You page, wait 5 minutes & check your stats. You should then see a sale.

11. (Testing the Purelink code) Follow steps #1-6.

12. Make sure that you have your website or Blog's url registered in DirectTrack.

13. Put the Purelink url on your website or Blog.

14. Go to your blog & click on the link you just put on your blog.

15. follow steps #8-10.
